We drove down to Kansas City to fly out for our vacation. We stayed over night and then took the shuttle to the aiport on Saturday. We got to Fort Lauderdale at 10 pm Saturday night. On Sunday we decided to walk to the beach which we thought was about 1/2 mile according to the clerk at Walgreens, well the 1/2 mile turned out to be about 2 1/2 - 3 miles. We all made it there and were so happy to see the water. It was a long hot walk. The kids had a great time at the beach and it was Chelsey's first time seeing the ocean. We then walked back when Sheena & Justin got to the hotel in the afternoon and spent the rest of the time in the hotels pool.
