Courtney was the latest family member to get braces.  I think she looks great in them. Her teeth are a little sore but she is doing great with them.  Dylan is scheduled to get his off in 4 weeks and he is very excited to get rid of them!!!

We braved the cold weather to go to the Harvest of Harmony parade.  It was Brandon's last marching ever, the start of the lasts for him.  They stopped in front of me and my camera was giving me problems so these are th best of the pictures that I had.  They were not playing their instruments when they walked past which was a bummer.  It was Courtney's first time marching as she was doing the flags for the last parade.  The girls did, however, manage to get a bunch of candy!!

Today was the Yorkfest parade and all 3 of our highschoolers marched in the parade. Courtney was an alternate for flags this year but she was able to do flags in the parade and she loved it!! Brandon plays the Saxophone and Dylan plays the trumpet.

Brandon turned 18 this year and I can't believe it. We celebrated with our tradition of going to Walmart and everyone buying him something under $5, but you can go together. He got some awesome gifts! :) We then celebrated with his favorite ice cream cake!!! For his birthday we also went up to Lifelight and we let him bring a friend and he took Evan. They loved Skillet and Chelsey loved Go Fish and we were right up front for that concert!! We loved classic Petra which we were also up front for. It was a fun weekend, except for the HEAT!!!!

1st day of school

The first day of school was August 15th. Brandon is a Senior, Dylan - Junior, Courtney - Freshman, Brittney - 6th grade and Chelsey is in 2nd grade. They all had a good first day. It is going to be a busy year with so many different grades and a Senior. It seems like just yesterday he was starting kindergarten. It is true that time does go sooooo fast!!!!

On Sunday, August 12, 2012 Courtney was baptized. We had the baptism out at Timberlake and started out with supper and then she had to give her testimony and then the baptism. There were 7 kids baptized that day. It was a beautiful day and we are so happy that Courtney chose to be baptized. We are also glad that she was able to be baptized by Pastor Duane before he moved.

Vacation 2012

This year on vacation we went to Minneapolis, MN. We met Larry and Tracy and their family on the way up. We went to mall of america and Chelsey and Brittney bought their American girls dolls.  They had so much fun picking them out and then they chose to have their ears pierced.  They had been saving their money for a long time to get them so it was really fun for them.  We also stayed at a waterpark hotel and spent a lot of time swimming there.  The last day of vacation was spent at valley fair which is an amusement park.  The kids all really had a fun time there.
